They pressed charges. In the end, the judge accepted George's "unconscious plagiarism" argument. He still wound up having to pay damages, but it was only a fraction of what The Chiffons demanded.

That's why George changed "My Sweet Lord" a little in his 2000 version. The remake didn't resemble the Chiffons' song so much. The Moody Minstrelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16342935635794595909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11083160.post-73923876586816682982007-06-19T20:44:00.000-04:002007-06-19T20:44:00.000-04:00i really liked the first picture - had seen this a...i really liked the first picture - had seen this around the plac but hadnt known where it came from ...Preronahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08873055320080221754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11083160.post-3099587033607953682007-06-19T18:04:00.000-04:002007-06-19T18:04:00.000-04:00Cool, I love his work....the Angel does look very ...Cool, I love his work....the Angel does look very much like a Protector/Guardian, either that or it just wants to take off into the heavens!Lotus Readshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02081192215823615529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11083160.post-82002654900701827952007-06-19T12:48:00.000-04:002007-06-19T12:48:00.000-04:00Hi,Olivia...both pics not visible out here.:)Hi,Olivia...both pics not visible out here.:)AmitLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01315443741450983388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11083160.post-72421045090767215572007-06-19T10:18:00.000-04:002007-06-19T10:18:00.000-04:00So oop north there's a flasher, and down south the...So oop north there's a flasher, and down south there's an erotic gherkin?
