Could someone be so good as to come round while I am at work and:
1) Buy stamps,
2) put away last month's laundry,
3) wrap presents,
4) make parcels and take them to the Post Office,
5) wash my sheets,
6) vacuum the floor,
7) do more laundry,
8) put that stuff in those boxes,
9) shred those receipts,
10) and take out the recycling?
Oh, and pack my suitcases for a) this weekend and b) Canada?
No?
I'll give you a chocolate!
*ooh, incentive*

Went to our team lunch at the restaurant in the Tate Modern. Awesome views across London. Mediocre food, but a really good chocolate truffle torte on a crumbled amaretto biscuit base. And a good enthusiastic chat with my 3 colleagues. It was also a very invigorating walk across the Millennium Bridge in the mild and whipping wind.
It put the colour in my cheeks :)

sigh, I live too far away to help
Sounds like you need a boy friend! Isn't this sort of thing their primary purpose? :P
That's quite a list! I'm helping if there's chocolate involved :)
Could I have more than a chocolate as payment?!
chocolate is a good bribe. Oh go on then
How much are you willing to pay me? haha I may do it for the right amount hehe. I need dinero not chocolate. :)
Oh, and the difficulty with leaving messages here has nothing to do with the word verification. I guess since I have an account with blogger, I have to log in to my site in order to leave a message on yours. I think I'll just post under "other."
He he, it's about that time of year eh? Between CHristmas drinks and dinners and Christmas shopping and work and preparing for trips...
Sounds like a great lunch. We had our dinner last night. I am proposing a lunch next time!
If I don't speak to you, have a great trip! Bring me back some snoooow, I hope you get a white Christmas.
Oh, I know how you feel about all those chores, Arty! I was getting to the same sort of state last week so I took a deep breath and tackled it all head on. I was exhausted at the end of it, but at least they're done now.
I just came from the mall where I was having a smootie with my friend Gwyn who is leaving to go home for xmas...sigh...no one to hang out with. wait..hehe, evil laugh...I will bug mitch...oh hahahahah
Hi,Olivia...I wonder...was that a message to Santa Claus(A wish list)?:)But,yes, finding such 'works'completed when returning home, would be nothing short of a miracle,I guess.:)BTW, which chocolate was the incentive?
hello bubble,
Bought one of these for myself for Christmas

Now I just need to find someone to show me how to play it....
Jia Li - ohhhhhh I watched the precious little movie you made, so cuuuuuute! Thanks chica!
***
Chris - Indeed I do. In the meantime, can you make a robot that will do my chores?
***
ML - I guarantee, it will be the best chocolate you've ever had.
***
Tab20 - I'm not snogging you if that's what you think. Oh look, Curly Wurlys - you know I got one in the post last week :P
***
Fabulous - welcome. Dark or milk choc?
***
Memoria - um...you could have some of my bonus, hehe!
Yes as you see, when I am at work, I don't log in, so "other" is fine.
***
Rebecca - we missed the Friday night Xmas party by having ours last night (Thurs).
Nooo, you are bound to have *some* snow before the end of your holiday. If not, you could just toboggan down a grassy mountain slope!
***
Katja - that's the way to do it. I may just stay up all night or something...Sunday night cos now I have to conserve my energy for an out of town dinner tomorrow.
***
Amit - hm, I hadn't thought of it that way. Maybe I should put "a butler robot from Chris" on there. This list is something I have to tackle myself :(
***
Anony - Oh my, another toy! What happened to your guitar instructor, did he give up on you???
no, I am going to call him to sort out some lessons in the new year. And then I am going to learn to fly - try and get a private pilots license.
more toys = better!!
Can you call me and I'll call right back - I switched phones and have lost loads of numbers...
White i think. White choc is the choc with mystry dont you think.
I so need an assistant as well. Actually, I probably need a maid. We live in an awfully big house for two people, two cats and a dog, and it's just so difficult to clean with all of the doorjambs and moulding.

You don't need a PA. You need either an indentured servant or an insanely devoted lover.
Or a mildly devoted blogger friend.
Try turning it into a contest:
"A kilogram of Crunchies and Twists for the first blog friend who shows up at my door wearing gloves and an apron!"
Mmmm...I would have liked some of that Chocolate truffle tort.
Olivia, please go to my bolg...Important message on top.
ok, the brooch I sent you was made in Montreal and I found it at a antique store in town.
I'm quitting Tim Hortons....tonight...I can't take it anymore...
School Starts again on the 4th....
PS. Glad you liked the movie
Anon - oooh you will have to take me for a spin in that when you qualify too!
***
Fabulous - I think you will be happier if I do not clear up the mystery about white choc ;)
The others won't forgive me for spoiling it for them.
***
Luna - it's not the doorjambs and moulding you have to worry about every day :P
Do you know, I have 6 doorjambs in my one room: 2 doors and 4 closets...only half of which I can use. I seriously need the other two. But they are full of clothes that the landlord/lady NEVER wear!!!
***
Minstrel - yes...actually, a few mildly devoted blogger friends have offered to come over, hehe!
***
Kirsten - ok will be over. You know there were more choc tortes at dinner last night, but I chose christmas pudding in rum butter instead.
***
Jia Li - I thought you did. I find that fascinating!
As for the job, do what you can - you have more talent than that.
talk later I hope.
Man, I wish I could find a person to do that stuff for me!!!
I need that sort of help too. waah.
Are you off to Canada? In shiverrrr winterrrr?
G-G - But you live at home, your mum at least can help out! My mum wishes she were here to help me prepare.
It is shiver winter. No snow for a couple more days, but I was on the phone earlier with Mum being all vexed about how I hate snow.
How much does this job pay? sounds peachy! :p
Merry Christmas, I probably won't be posting agina until next week so have awesome time!
Merry Christmas Olivia :)
Good luck with the trip and safe travels. :)
