Give me

Muse again...

BLISS - Origin of Symmetry, 2001

Or Watch Here

Everything about you is how I wanna be

Your freedom comes naturally

Everything about you resonates happiness

Now I won't settle for less

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you pains my envying

Your soul can't hate anything

Everything about you is so easy to love

They're watching you from above

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind

I want the peace and joy in your mind

Give me the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you resonates happiness

Now I won't settle for less

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind

I want the peace and joy in your mind

Give me the peace and joy in your mind

Since hearing this song some weeks ago, I now have the whole collection and my list of favourites has grown longer. Thing I hate about being a girl is that when you share music with someone special, the memory of them lingers with the sound for too long after they are gone. You know?

It's odd how songs can remind you so strongly of a place or a person, but I think they do so better than most anything else. It might be hard to listen and remember at the mo, but in the future you might actually find listening and remembering to be something you enjoy.

Listen to Hysteria on an ipod on the bus. Almost as good as in a fast car!

I STILL don't know why I haven't gotten any of their albums! This is some great stuff!

Thanks for the musical experience :)

Hope you're doing well!

Pete - I like them so much I am not willing to abandon them :)

Anonanon - try it in the Lamborghini when it arrives. Put me on the waiting list!

Minstrel - I am glad I shared, and glad you like, a compliment coming from a musician.
Did you know they are inspired often by Rachmaninov? You should hear the piano work in some of their songs.

ML - Quite a bit better than the past few weeks, thanks.

I don't get how that is a "girl" thing but..whatever haha. And last time I checked, you are no longer of "girl" age hehe.

I just wanted to tell you that I tried to attend the UST All-Classes Reunion, but I couldn't find one of the events, was appropriately dressed for another, and didn't feel like going to the other two events. So, I drove down to Houston and stayed in an expensive hotel downtown for basically no reason...but I did get to see my very first girlfriend ever from high school.

I am engaging in a serious rethink about the purchase of a Lamborghini. That dreadful coke head from the Iceland adverts - Kerry Katona - just bought one. That's like seeing Waynetta slob in the Gucci outfit you had an eye on or Paul Calf in the Armani suit that was on the shopping list. It's actually really upset me to think that a coked up chav never was wants the same car as me.

It's all doom and gloom in this corner of a foreign land that is forever England...

Amit - good for a slow moment in the office :)

Jessica - welcome back, and glad you like.

Memoria - Gah! I can't get ANYTHING past you chica!

UST sent me an invitation to that All-Classes Reunion and I had such a pang of homesickness. I decided I would like to go to the 10 year one. Might actually have accomplished something by then...
It was very brave of you to attend, I know how you are with events like that. Did you see anyone you/we know?

Anonanon - I never did see you as a Lamborghini owner. And anyway I thought you had the hots for a Ferrari. But you'd never get out of your street in one of those, it would get stuck on a corner or something.

As for Kerry Katona and those other Z-listers...I don't like Gucci, Armani, D&G, Versace, et al. All cheapened by association.

Ferraris are unreliable and a bit mundane now. A lot of the romance has gone since Enzo passed away and Fiat really took over.

But a Gallardo seems to benefit from VW/Audi ownership, still bonkers fast and good looking but with added reliablity.

But Kerry cokehead. Oh dear.

So that leaves me with staying with the existing car or buying a 911 turbo or maybe an Aston V8 vantage. But the depreciation on a V8 vantage will strip the enamel off your teeth....

Wanted to take you for a drive in a shiney new toy before you depart to pastures new.. Ah, may not happen now (unless you stick around!)
