The Good Old Days

I was perusing some old posts today and am pleased to say that I didn't always used to be as miffed about life as I am at the moment.

So, since I have absolutely nothing to blog about at the moment, why don't I share two posts from the days when I used to be informative? Those of you relatively new to my blog may be pleasantly surprised ;)

April 2006:
Vesuvius and the Ten Billion Tonnes

March 2006:
Genes and the Super Volcano

Or one from April 2005, when I was in a witty and philosophical mood:
Art and Beauty

Or a sensuous and literary mood, also in April 2005:
Violets from End to End

If you like, later this week I could share some other interesting old posts, or suggest something you'd like me to research. Let's get this blog back on its feet!

Yes, I remember when you were quite encyclopedic! Not that you have to be all the time, but it'd be fun to read more of this type :-)

Your little weather forecast window says that London is currently "dreary".

Once upon a midnight dreary,
As I pondered weak and weary
Over many a quaint and curious post of forgotten cyber-lore...
While I sat there, madly clicking,
Suddenly there came a ticking,
And then I noticed something sticking
There upon my chamber floor.
I dropped the mouse and bolted out
While uttering a maddened shout.
No sooner did I step without
Than there came a hollow BOOM.
The fragments flew in all directions,
Shockwave, blazing heat convections.
As I tumbled down I feared
I'd met an early doom.

I think I need to review my Poe...

Nikki - I can't even remember when you started visiting, so I guess you are an old-timer now ;)

LB - gosh you had to pick the toughest topic!

Flighty - I am glad you appreciated that. I will try harder.

Planethalder - I tried to the tag last night and my puter froze up. I will have to try tomorrow night.

Jahooni - once upon a time when I had nothing to say but wanted to blog daily, I used to babble on about all sorts of things!

Minstrel - I think this is one of your best yet. I always say that though.

Do one for the Telltale Heart!

P.S. Yes, it all fell apart the moment you dropped your mouse.
