How nerdy are you? [Edited]

Thanks to Merserene for this quiz. She and I already knew we were, but it doesn't stop us being all girly and talking about makeup!

I am nerdier than 71% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

A bit tough, since Science, English, History and Geography were all my favourite classes. I wanted to be a scientist, but I used to correct the Geography teacher, and everyone loved my English essays. I made the highest grade in the class in US Government and the teacher said, "If I weren't married, I would kiss you."

Now it's your turn. (No, not to kiss me, but to take the quiz...!)

[Edit]

The Stupid Quiz said I am "Totally Smart!" How stupid are you? Click here to find out!

I did not want to be smarter than this. Although, I should not have taken it after skipping lunch, and before eating dinner...

On the phone with Mum this afternoon, I told her I wished I could be less intelligent and more outgoing. To use only want word for what I want to be. She said, "It's your fault for being born so smart." I said, "No, it's Dad's, Lizzy's [godmother] and your fault for feeding my brain all the time! And preemies are supposed to have learning problems!" (Specially as I was often deprived of oxygen in utero.)

You have to do this one too...

I'm so glad you're up there with the score, too. ;) I thought I was only slightly nerdy - my view could be skewed (hey, that rhymes!) because I know so many nerds.

Now if we were to talk about the science behind MU and fragrances... (which I love, too!)

Am lightly nerdy only cause don't know nuffink about science. Always was more bookish I guess than scientific. Shame, I would have liked to be a total nerd/geek. So sexy that no?
As for smart they say I am pretty smart which surprises me as I ranked myself with Forrest Gump. I love taking tests though :o)

Wait, so is nerdiness based on scientific knowledge? Because I'm pretty nerdy for talking back to the news, political debates and other such discussions on TV. That, is nerdy!

But seeing as how intelligence and self-confidence (which makes you outgoing) are not mutually exclusive, why do you want to be less intelligent?

Rox - oh don't be silly, of course you're smart :P
Hehe!

I love taking tests too, and I suspect that is quite a nerdy trait!

Rebecca - oh you never let me get away with anything!

I know the two are not mutually exclusive - and I am pretty sure you've challenged me on this before. I wish I could swap a bit...

After taking the test, I thought about the meaning of nerdy and realised, yes, it is more scientific knowledge. Reciting the periodic table (technical knowledge) is not the same as having a political debate (social knowledge. What do you think of my comparison?

Steli - now then, there is nothing wrong with being a mid-level nerd.

LOL and you're not too stupid to take the stupidity test, you're too intelligent to take it. You rightfully deemed it a waste of time - because it is.

In psychology we always joked that we majored in it just so we could continually evaluate ourselves. Of course, even the specialised tests like Myers-Briggs are now free on the internet.

technical knowledge v. social knowledge. Ok. I see that. Ok, fair enough. Not a nerd. Does that mean I am "cool"? Or... "radical"?
He he, it's the Swiss in me. Or the nerdiness...? I just can't let it go.
Don't be less intelligent. Just be more outgoing.

Rebecca - LOL Swiss Miss.
You are cool with an underlayer of nerd and a surprising dash of radical.
