Cayman? The cheap boxter. which is a cheap carrera. OK, I'll proabl;y never be able to get any of them but lets be fair here, Porsche have the laziest design team on the face of the planet!
Designer 1:'So what shall we do with the new model?'
Designer 2:'We could not make it look like a frog?
Designer 1:'.......................?'
designer 2:'You're right, let's just put more chrome on the gear stick and change the facia design'
I just want my Range Rover back. :-( Well, a new one really the other was very, very old. Is it legal to prefer a Range Rover over a Porsche? I think that this makes me officially 'sad'.
Sorry Olivia, the 2005 and 2006 Porsche Cayman has a full 10 spoke wheel (Boxter has a five spoke that splits half way up the spoke), a grill opening with a suspended round running light instead of rectangular, and the side vent detail is smaller with a more pronounced whitnes line leading to the front wheel....lol. That photo is the new model Boxter S with the hardtop installed, but I could be convinced the British import version of the Cayman has American boxter styling and the American version something else, because Porsche is lazy and robs styling from one model to give to other models. The new Boxter and the Cayman are practically the same car already...lol. All Porsche did was take the front half of a boxter, the back half of a Cararra and the top of the 911 mix up the details and voila! the Cayman! Mattj hit it on the nose, lazy lazy porsche designers (sorry I know this crap. I mentioned I was going to buy a new car, and a coworker who drives a Boxter is feverishly trying to talk me into one too. Haha not likely).
Caesura - I concede the point, because I can't get into the technicalities of cars, much as I love them. I searched for Cayman pics and they all looked like this, though.
Is this the guy who broke his leg and couldn't drive his new Boxter for weeks? Haha. Poor fellow.
haha yes! That's the guy! He's driving it now though. I miss you Olivia! Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I'm sure I'll be writing more about why soon. It's that crossroads stuff I've seen you mention. ((((Olivia))))

Matt - thanks for the diverting dialogue.
hmmmm a car? Damm, I have a guess but don't want to get it wrong
I'll let you drive mine (round a car park, in first gear) when I get one. Either that or the S-2000.
But no Dido on the cd player.
Really? AWESOME! I can't wait!
(So pass that test alreadyyyyy...)

Famulus - welcome to my blog.
Nothing wrong with Range Rovers, so no, you are not sad.
To each his own, what?
That is the Porsche Boxter S series
Caesura - No it isn't.
I thought at least Jason would say something about it. Good thing I never called you Porsche-boy!
Alright people, only one of you got it right and won the prize. It's the new Porsche Cayman. *sigh*

I am staying out of this conversation. Quite clueless when it comes to cars.
